Healing Heart NHC is a primary care holistic family clinic run by Joshua Phillips, ND (naturopathic physician) and Chelsea Phillips, LAc (licensed acupuncturist). The two offer a team approach to healthcare, specializing in Fertility Enhancement, Pregnancy Support, Labor and Birth Support, Pediatric care, Vaccination Consultations/Alternatives, and Family Wellness.
The mission of our clinic is to provide complete and thorough holistic healthcare for families, children and babies. We accomplish this through comprehensive evaluation and treatment in a compassionate way, with an emphasis on education. The latin root for the word "doctor", after all, means "to teach".
Chelsea offers traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture private office visits for conditions "A through Z", while specializing in the care of women during their journey from conception through birth. Chelsea's approach supports a healthy pregnancy and birth with acupuncture and custom Chinese herbal formulas, while also effectively addressing complaints of pregnancy.
Chelsea also serves as a Doula for women to assist and support during labor and birth. She offers home visits during the pregnancy, while attending with midwife or physician for births at home, in the birthing center, or at the hospital. When necessary, Chelsea is able to utilize Acupucture for stalled labor, labor pain relief, and general support of the birthing process.
Dr. Phillips is a board certified naturopathic physician, specializing in holistic primary care for children and their families. He is passionate about providing tools for families to live lives that nourish vitality and well-being. His approach to primary care treats the causes of existing illness while at the same time preventing the development of future health concerns.
